condesor mics

Has anyone tried out those pairs of condensor mics on the market? Has anyone used them in conjunction with effects processors? Do you need a PA or can you find a good amp to use with them? Does Iron Maiden have open auditions?

Eddie Daniels uses an AMT W44 mike with a wireless transmitter on stage. Properly amplified/reinforced, it's difficult to notice the amplification. You can see a picture of the W44 at <B><A href=http://www.elefantemusic.com/wseries.htm>http://www.elefantemusic.com/wseries.htm</A></B>.

Unfortunately, Iron Maiden is not holding open auditions. At least not for bass clarinet. I asked, they didn't want me. I'm hurt. Oh, well.
