A teacher with whom I will be hooking up in the fall has suggested that I try a Link 5* in place of my B45 [dot].
The proof is in the pudding, of course. However I seem not to be able to find the Link mps. One store I spoke to in London said they had them on order for 8 months. And I do not see them listed in my WW/BW catalogue.
Any suggestions on where to find them?
Any suggestions on mouthpieces of a similar configuration?
My Vandoren reeds run from 2 1/2 to 3 1/2.
Thanks from Coolea

They don't make Otto Link clarinet mouthpieces anymore, to my knowledge. But Wichita Band Instrument Company has been putting one on eBay every month. They're minimum bid is about $75 i believe. I don't kno for sure if it is still on eBay right now, but you can do a search for it. And find their e-mail and write and ask them.

I just sold one. What are/were they good for? A scooped out baffle (like someone tried to bury something) and a massive roll-over near the tip. But then again, I never understood the whole jazz equipment speciality. I hated it from the first moment I play tested it!!!!
