 Good American Clarinet Music/Jazz
Author: Daniel stein
Date:   1999-06-04 17:25

I was reading about a scholarship contest where they ant a twentieth century american composition as part of the repetoir...are there any good ones, except copland? Also, are there any written with jazz influence. I was thinking something like a transcription of one of the Gershwin piano preludes transcribed for clarinet. Any Help would be appreciated, I appologize for my random capitalizations.

Thank you

dan
