My memory is a bit "foggy" but I seem to recall that Buffets with serial #s 100,000 + were considered to be inferior to the 60,000 to 90,000 series as the the company was experimenting with altered bore designs. IMHO, I would recommend an earlier or "modern" Buffet. Perhaps some of the tech people on this board can give better info than I, but my recollections from the sixties would caution me against that series of numbered Buffets. On the other hand, if it plays well, ,,,,,,,,then go for it!! (but beware) Good Clarineting!!!!!!!
