Does anyone have success using French style mouthpieces with Wurlitzer Reform Boehm clarinets? The instruments I have seen on sale usually have German mouthpieces.

Well the acoustic ideal is bore size, length of the mouthpiece AND the German facing. Of course the tenon is 1.00mm fatter and 1.00mm longer on the German but once you work around that, you CAN make the French mouthpiece work if you absolutely need it.

"The mouthpieces for German and Reform-Boehm clarinets are identical, the mouthpieces for French clarinets have their special fit..."
So, it is clear that they do not expect a MP for "French clarinet" to be used on their Reform-Boehm or German clarinets.
They have pretty good selection of MPs, so it should be possible to match their MP to an existing "French clarinet" MP.
Also, the German and esp. Viennese school players use MPs with longer facing and smaller opening so switch to that can be difficult.
The "French" fingering is probably the only thing that makes it easier to switch to a reform Boehm clarinet but there are many other factors making the switch more difficult...

I originally played several years with a French Selmer C85 mouthpiece on my Wurlitzer RB's, but with barrels from Wurlitzer suitable to French mouthpiece tenons.
For best tuning and tone I would still recommend German or Viennese mouthpieces, along with softer reeds and a more relaxed embouchure than you may be used to on French mouthpieces.
My own current choice is a Maxton Clara with a Viennese facing but a German bore, which I'm very, very happy with (btw, I just noticed that also Ricardo Morales is now playing on Maxton mouthpieces, but on their French models).

I have success using the Vandoren B40D and BD5D mouthpieces. These are for French reeds but have the German tenon to fit in the Wurlitzers.
Other options are the Gleichweit mouthpieces with french facings. You should order bore size: "Deutsch-Weit" for best tuning and fit with the Wurlitzers.
