I recently went to purchase a few boxes of reeds as I typically used Vandoren Rue Lepic size 3,5, and it seems that there has been some sort of price increase. I usually bought them from about $26-$29 USD and was shocked to see that the lowest price now is $37 dollars!
I am totally curious if anyone knows why the price has increased by nearly $10 dollars... I work in corporate America so the answer is probably what I am thinking, but like I said I am curious as to what others think/know about this increase in price.

I noticed the same. I paid $29 per box in October, $32 in December, $37 this month.

I haven't seen 56 Rue reeds for $26-29 for a long time except on special sale, but $37 is higher than I've been seeing. It's interesting that, on the Weiner Music website 56 Rue, V.12 and V 21 are all up to $37 a box, but Traditionals are still $27/box, unchanged since I last bought them.
