Kathryn Lomax just posted on social media that Joel passed away today.

Joel was one of the "good'uns", a stellar gent. As well as his repair work and helping his dad with Lomax mouthpieces in the early 2000s, he was singer in a band called Funky Noosa and their album lived in my car stereo for many years. A really cool guy.
