for me the "revelation" ones (metal longitudinal rails on reed, fabric/leather lig) give a good balance of flexibility and control.
and they are very practical and don't slip etc. More control? move the lig closer to the tip, especially needed for legeres. not tight enough? try the BG "reed performer" to bulk up the reed and keep the lig from slipping on it.
