I rarely get a cold (last time 4-5 years ago), but don't recall it really affecting my breathing and playing. In 2007 I was almost delirious with a bad one, high temperature and all. Played the Weber Concertino during the worst day of it. The 1st flutist said it was the best she ever heard me play (it WAS very good). Still don't know if that's a compliment though--what about all the other times.....
