 Charles Bay bass clarinet neck

Hey everyone!
Just out of curiosity from anyone who has had this done, how much did it cost to get your bass clarinet neck modified to the "improved angle."

Thanks,
Lukas

My repair tech did it for about $50, as I recall. There are people on this list who will do it as well; don't know what they charge.

I can't say i know but when I tried one of his necks i found that angle far to acute. I don't like the mouthpiece being in my mouth the same angle as a clarinet. The bass clarinet is not a clarinet. Somewhere in-between works much better in my opinion. But of course this is a personal decision.
