The clarinet that Bruce Yeh is playing is a CSVR with the added low f correction. Yamaha will be showing a Altier customized version of of the CSVR. My CSVR A that yamaha added customization.
I played the SE Artist model, I didn't find that it played that differently than the SEVR that I purchased. The differences were mainly cosmetic, i.e. gold or hamilton plated key posts the CSG thumb low F correction and a raised C finger hole.
There is a general trend in clarinets these days. Everybody wants to spend extra money for extra "bling" I don't know what the "street price" for an SE Artist model is but a CSVR or an SEVR sell at the Ellicott City Music and Arts Center for $3080. 300 less than and R13, $800 less than a Silver plated R13. For the $3080 you get a clarinet that you can take out of the case and play a gig on, a clarinet that you don't have to take to the shop and have $450 worth of work done to it before you use it, and a clarinet that plays way better in tune than clarinets costing 2x as much. I know I've recently owned said clarinets.
