I'm thinking more of the cheaper clarinets, stencils, etc, not so much the Buffets and Selmers, but let's hear about those too if you like.
I have a Pichard Artist circa 1960 made by Malerne, that restored beautifully and has some super even looking tight grained grenadilla. I put the tan/brown kangaroo pads on it from Prestini. They floated in so nicely and sealed perfectly. And the clarinet seems to play in tune and sounds great to my ear. Using a Henri Selmer S mouthpiece.
