Kia ora,
I know this is a long shot- but does anyone have the clarinet part for the Bellini Opera "I Capuleti e i Montecchi"? In particular the solo from Act 2 scene 5.
Unless I'm mistaken it's not on Imslp, and yes I know I can buy it from Lucks.
Any help much appreciated!
thanks

Hello Donald,
If you still need it, I have a scan of the solo I can email you.

Hi there,
I've had several people email me with versions of this solo in both C and B flat, thanks to everyone. The performance I'm involved with is using an ad hoc reduced version, and the clarinet solo came to me (as did about 50% of the part) as reading from a piano score. This had NO articulation or expression markings, and was missing many of the itallian terms I see in the original part. I would have consulted a score, but those options were limited too.
So big thanks to all who helped out!
The age of the internet makes many things easier, but it's that people are prepared to help out some nobody from the other side of the world that reminds me how awesome the 21st century is :-)

This isn't the clarinet orchestral part for the solo, but Klose published a set of unaccompanied selections from that opera for clarinet. I was glad to find IMSLP has some in Klose's series of opera selections. That seemed to be a lack in the Klose method book, which is provided well in the Arban trumpet method.
Does anyone have a source for the first dozen books in this series that aren't now at IMSLP?
