I play bass clarinet and recently started looking for a good harness for my low C Buffet. Has anyone had any experience with any harnesses?
Specifically the Protec Bari Sax harness for 25 dollars

I have one and use it all the time. Comfortable, well made, and it does the job. Inexpensive.

IME different harnesses can feel a little different so you have to try them. I like BG straps and even their harnesses on some instruments, but it was just uncomfortable with a bass clarinet. I like the Neotech harness. Basically any good harness would be... good... unless it's not comfortable to you for whatever reason.

Depends on the maker...but if you don't like a "springy" feel...don't get the Neotech. I dumped mine for a BG Bari Harness. I can't speak for the Protec Bari Harness...but the BG was a great buy for me. I felt like I continually had to adjust the Neotech due to the "elasticity" in the harness itself. Yes....it was comfortable....but it was more hassle than it was worth, for me.

Supposedly Vandoren has a good one and I have a customer with another he even likes better, but I forget the name. A sax forum might be a better place to ask.
