Yes, I have a wood Marcel Deleau C clarinet I bought at United Band in downtown Los Angeles in the 1950s, used. The brand was imported by the Baxter Northrup Music store, then also in that area. It can be considered an intermediate model. Baxter Northrup later moved to Van Nuys, being owned for a while by the studio player, Ben Kanter. United Band also moved out of downtown Los Angeles.
I took it to the late Glen Johnston for some tuning and adjustment work. He drilled a small vent in the bell to help the middle B and low E tuning. While it is a good clarinet, I've found very little use for a C clarinet, usually transposing c parts because the instrument was at home and not available. It has a Mitchell Lurie M3 mouthpiece on it. The original case is also here, a square clunky case with the instrument sections mounted on short dowels.
