Legere Euro Spec Bb, Cut for Eb

Since Effers and Legere are a hot item on the Bboard right now. And I, ironically, just played the beast last night. Do you guys have any experience with cutting the end off the Bb Euro Spec Bb Legere and use them of the Eb clarinet? Good results?
I did throw my Bb Euro Legere on my effer and tightened the hell out of ligature and seemed to work well (but used a new Vandoren Eb for the concert that did the job, kinda). I want y'alls opinion.

Though I love the European Signature on Zinner blank Bb clarinet mouthpieces, I didn't care for them on Eb, perhaps because their greater width may be just too wide for an Eb mouthpiece. I prefer the original Signature on Eb. I use a Jessica Phillips style barrel with a cut out, so the length of the reeds do not need to be shortened.

John:
I appreciate the feedback. I just realized I broke Clarinet Bboard rule one: Tell'em what you're playing on. My entire set-up on the Eb is Clark Fobes...San Francisco mouthpiece, barrel, & extension on a 80s Buffet.

It's been a month of Sundays since I used a Legere on my Eb and I'll need to buy some more. Out of curious, what strength are you using on Bb Euro Signature vs Eb Original Signature? I use a 3-3/4 (occasionally a 4) Euro Signature on my Bb with a Behn mouthpiece. I know at the end of day, I'll have make an educated guess at strength for the Eb. Just find other's suggestions insightful.

Robert, I usually use a 3 3/4 Euro Signature for Bb, with a Fobes CF mouthpiece and a 3 1/2 regular Signature for Eb, with a Backun mouthpiece. Sometimes on the Bb I use a Fobes Europa 3 with a 3 1/2 Euro Signature.
