Legere Euro Spec Bb, Cut for Eb

Since Effers and Legere are a hot item on the Bboard right now. And I, ironically, just played the beast last night. Do you guys have any experience with cutting the end off the Bb Euro Spec Bb Legere and use them of the Eb clarinet? Good results?
I did throw my Bb Euro Legere on my effer and tightened the hell out of ligature and seemed to work well (but used a new Vandoren Eb for the concert that did the job, kinda). I want y'alls opinion.
