Speaking of Dwight Dailey, if you ever get the chance to hear his Clarinet Concerto it's fabulous. I have a really scratchy recording that he sent me probably 10 or 15 years ago along with the clarinet part. It's a cool big band solo piece in 3 movements. One of those marquis pieces from the 40s-60s that's gotten lost with time.
