Those demos are only a few days old. The Yamaha SE Artist seems to put out a lot of sound; I'd certainly like to hear one in an orchestra. Like the earlier SE, it's brighter than the CSGIII. I wonder what the difference is between the SE Artist and the Yamaha SEAM? All these multicolored keys and gold keys are changing the face of the clarinet. People with plenty of money to spend on new clarinets will not be lacking for new models to buy. Yamaha as a producer of boutique clarinets will certainly be a change in their image, though they have offered high end flutes for a while now.
