 Vandoren Reed Trimmer

Has anyone used the relatively new Vandoren Reed Trimmer? It's far more expensive than the Cordier. If anyone out there has used it, please share your experiences and also whether you believe this tool is worth the $160+ price that Vandoren gets for it. Thanks.
