Hi,
So I recently got back a B45 MP that had been refaced, I liked it for a little bit, but then the left lower side of my jaw started to hurt as I was using it and for a while after practice. As sit here typing the pain is not there, since I just practiced. {I think I'm getting wisdom teeth in, but I been having the pain since before I started playing the mouthpiece anyway. And it seems to have gotten worse. Since I like my 5RV Lyre, I'll use it, but I'm wondering what else is out there that would produce a dark, warm, round tone, and until I can see a dentist, {Might be a while} would work with a tight budget of under a hundred. I play in orchestra and will try jazz band next week. I will also contact my instructor and see what she thinks later on this week.

You should read the recent post about biting, since there are some valuable exercises you can do to make sure your jaw isn't doing anything it shouldn't...
Obviously there are some biting issues if the jaw hurts. It is hard to make reed suggestions without sitting down with you in person to help find the best setup, but you owe it to yourself to buy some better reeds than La Voz. Vandoren Blue Box 3-3.5 won't set you back much financially but will be much better than the la voz. Point being- we do a lot of weird things when trying to adjust to a funky reed!
It is possible, and probable, that the facing wasn't done symmetrically or in a way that is conducive to a free and uninhibited playing experience. Unless the tip opening was closed down, the B45 is much too resistant for what you're looking for (which it's safe to assume is something with less pressure\resistance that won't leave your jaw feeling like you got in a fight).
I had a teacher that said, assuming your mouthpiece is in the ball park, that anytime you play a reed and your jaw starts to hurt to just throw it away. Especially for high school\early college. There's a lot of truth to this. Naturally, it can be a mouthpiece problem as well in your case.
If you can take pictures of your B45, can you send them to my email? If I can see it (knowing who did the facing would help too), I can tell you why it's not functioning as well as you'd like. The difference in design between the 5RV and B45 is quite significant. Vandoren offers the 5RV Lyre, M30 Lyre, M30, B40, etc. that are between these two different mouthpieces you have.

some pain may be related to the angle you're having your jaw open (not all mouthpieces are alike, there are minute "thickness" variations).
You may want to see your dentist and/or a jaw surgeon if you suffer from some kind of beginning TMJ (tempromandibular) dysfunction or locking jaw problem. Maybe that refaced mouthpiece just hits some (not so) sweet spot in your jaw mechanism, it's difficult to tell from here.
Re a low-budget alternative, you may want to try a Fobes Debut mouthpiece. Really.

Maria, these two sentences seem so non-sequitur to the rest of your post, but may be more important than any of the mouthpiece information you provided. If the pain came before you started to use the B45, the chances seem strong that it may have nothing at all to do with the clarinet. Get it checked by a dentist and see if there's a non-clarinet explanation (maybe wisdom teeth, as you suggest, or jaw inflammation from some other cause). If it truly has something to do with your embouchure approach, thinking about pressure and "biting" and which mouthpiece and reeds to use may eventually solve the problem. But if there's something structural going on in your jaw, you'll only postpone dealing with it if you don't have it checked out.

A good solution is chewing gum!
I have no severe problems. But just some next day after playing for more than 4 hours yesterday.
But i prefer a healty variant from the Bioshop.
