Just got the WWBW catalog, which has what purports to be a Buffet E11 E-flat clarinet on page 35. The trill keys look like leblanc jump keys.
Is this a mis-identified photograph or have galaxies collided?

I just checked their website, and it sure looks like a buffet logo all over the clarinet,an E-11 badging on the top joint, and jump trill keys. Maybe they are using the old Noblet factory in France that they acquired from Leblanc, and using their old tooling for the keywork.

On second thought, the photo is on the wwbw site, too. It has a Buffet Logo with the E11 designation right below the oval, and has the jim[p keys as you mentioned. Perhaps they are utilizing tooling from the okld, closed Noblet plant in France, and using the keywork from that on their new student-grade instruments.

The Noblet jump keys were straight. The ones on the BB&BW Eb have the "serpentine" pattern used only on the top of the line Leblancs. Unless the Noblet plant has/had the Leblanc stampers and dies, this would have to be a new design.
A true conundrum.

Weiner Music is offering this clarinet on the EBay website, with a perhaps the same photo mentioned by Jeff, which is very sharp and focused, so I don't think there was a mis-identified photo. I like the thought that Buffet purchased the old Leblanc factory and got a bunch of Leblanc parts with it. Query whether the E11 is to the same specs as the Leblanc LL...
