Happened with some greenlines I have too. Best bring it to a technician who can widen the socket of the barrel enough to fit.

The diameter of the socket on the barrel is supposed to be big enough for the wood not to make contact with the tenon, but small enough that the cork can reach it and form a seal. Yours is too small.
