Eddie Palanker - My sister went to see the symphony last weekend. You played the Copland - Fanfare for the common man! Great fun piece to hear.
She said the orchestra did another piece; a parody as such, called Fanfare for the common woman! What the heck was that all about? I'll see if I can find a recording.

Jack got it right. It's written for the same instrumentation as Copland's but not nearly as good a piece. Although the title sounds like a parody the piece does not. ESP eddiesclarinet.com
