Just an update, which is a happy ending. I called Buffet today in Jacksonville and spoke to Francois Kloc personally about the problem with being so sharp in clarion and altissimo and he is having a professional (way more professional than me) to play and hand pick a clarinet to replace the one I have. I had really grown to love the tone I get from the Buffet and even though I seemed like a hardnosed Selmer player, I have become a Buffet lover.

Plus it is just better for me to play on a Buffet when the other 3 or 4 clarinetists that play with me in the orchestra play on buffet. Similar intonation issues and easier to mesh with them than when I was playing my Selmer. How I love a happy ending

Also I must rave on the customer service that Buffet provides!!

Edited at add update. Recieved call back and I am shipping the rogue clarinet to the factory to have it worked on, that will work just fine for me
