Thank you for all of the input guys. I also had some of those crappy leather pads that would cause mt register key to not open. Once I get a nice alto I might put some Valentinos on like I have on my bass. I haven't seen the Amati open holes yet, thanks.

I am attending Western Iowa Tech for Band Instrument Repair. I began in August 2010. I mostly play clarinet, but like to mess around with anything musical. I've played soprano, alto, and bass in several ensembles.
