Which country has the best talent?
Yes I know this is the most ridiculous, incompetent question but I thought it would be interesting to hear people's opinions and why?

Historically, I would say France, but the best era were American clarinetists from the 40s through 70s

They are all solfeging monsters, use Bbs for EVERYTHING (with low Eb of course for all "A" transpositions) and whoever the guy is playing with La Scala, is one of the best clarinetists I've ever heard.

Vin, bravo. If we could figure out the world's absolute worst clarinet country (no, I don't suggest we do that!), I'll bet this group's collective knowledge could name at least one fine clarinet player who's overcome the obstacles.
