 "That Was the Week That Was" ?

This is not really a clarinet question but I know there are highly respected professional performers who post here. I just watched some clips from the old TV show mentioned in the subject which I will now call TW3. There was a live jazz band playing and in a clip showing the last program in 1964 the alto sax player played an incredible solo. This is the US version so I'm sure these guys were probably pretty well known players in the New York City area. Does anyone know who played in this band?
