François Devienne: Sonata In C Minor for clarinet

Hi everyone,
I am looking for a recording of François Devienne: Sonata In C Minor for clarinet and was wondering if any of you might have an idea of where I can purchase one.

Sabine Meyer has one on EMI Classics 3797872.
They have them in at Amazon if you search under Sabine Meyer (wouldn't come up under Devienne).

Thanks, but that piece is the E Flat major sonata and Im looking for his c minor sonata. Ive look everywhere and can only find the sheet music.

There seems to be confusion concerning the first Devienne sonata.
On a thread here, people wonder if the C major sonata the same as the C minor sonata :

Someone wrote: "Howarths have a copy Sonata No.1 in C for Clarinet & Piano published by Editions Musicales Transatlantiques edition. You can buy it over the internet - just put Devienne & Sonata No 1 in the search boxes.
Howarths also list a Sonata No. 1 in C minor but it is a different publisher."

There is a cd on Gary van Cott's site:

that lists a cd with both sonatas:

Google searches turn as many references to Devienne Clarinet Sonata no. 1 in C major as Devienne Clarinet Sonata no. 1 in C minor.

A scholarly edition of the "C minor' sonata has been made:

They appear to be the same piece.
Does anyone know if they are the same piece?

so, some interesting things about these Devienne Sonatas...

I'm fairly certain that the most played and most familiar "clarinet" sonatas (no. 1 in Eb and no. 2 in Bb) were originally flute pieces and have been transcribed.

The C minor sonata is of a different vein- it was written for clarinet and a single bass instrument (or maybe continuo). Only recently has Nicholas Cox created a piano part from the original bass line so we could perform it in a more modern setting. As far as I know, there aren't any recordings available yet, but I know that someone from Florida State University is putting together a CD of all Devienne's works for clarinet (the flute sonatas and the original clarinet pieces) this year.

As far as the confusion about the C major/C minor sonata: I suspect that the C major refers to the original flute key of the no. 2 (which has been changed to Bb for us to keep fingerings easier), But there is definitely a separate C minor sonata that was an original clarinet piece by Devienne.
