 Korg TM-40

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can use the "reference pitch" feature and the metronome at the same time on the Korg TM-40. I know you can use the tuner and the metronome (with limited capability) at the same time but I suspect perhaps this does not include the tuning pitches.

I was looking into getting a compact device to carry around in my case (rather than separate tuner/metronome) and really would like something that will give me a drone to practice with. The Korg's metronome capabilities (time signatures up to 7 beats, subdivisions) also appeal to me, and the tuner included is a bonus. At home I usually use the computer to set a drone and metronome that gives subdivisions and whatnot, but lugging a computer around in my case isn't really practical...

Yes, you can use the drone as the same time as the metronome. I just went and checked it on mine.
It's a great little tool! I find the fact that both the tuner and the metronome can work at the same time useful for long tones in my warm up.
