OK.... bizarre YouTube video satire of clarinet auditions

The first in a series of four. Funny and accurate in a very sad way.

No clarinetists were used or harmed in the making of those videos.

Warning: trash talking and adult language.

Not so bizaare Jeff, judging by some of the topics and responses posted to this Bulletin Board.

Very humorous.

In the same style there is a version based on the threads about saxophone finish on the SOTW forum.

I find the french horn video that these are based on to be most accurate. Funny stuff!

Outstanding!

Sadly, these are all somewhat realistic.

Yep. My daughter turned me on to these yesterday. She heard about them from her teacher, who is a clarinetist in the Detroit Symphony. She's back from college for the summer and working with him again.

That chick is hot! Did she say she slept with a conductor, that's not very professional is it? I'm shocked. I would never sleep with my conductor, unless we were in different rooms and even different hotels. ESP http://eddiesclarinet.com

I've witnessed this in the couple of US auditions I've done and in Europe. Not so much the case here in the UK. Very funny though

To a german clarinetist, "Good job on your Scheherazde. I heard it while you were practicing it a while ago. When you played the triple solo cadenza, it sounded like there was some hot festering diarrhea spontaneously squirting out of that damn albert system crump horn of yours."

Scherezade is IMPORTANT.

Never go to a group instrument tryout (like the sales room at ClarinetFest) unless you're well armed with cadenzas, loud ones.
