Only one of them is the Holton/Leblanc logo.

And while studying the one that ISN'T the Holton/Leblanc logo I now realise what it represents - although I already know what the Holton logo represents. They're both completely different things.

I remember when I first saw a Holton trombone with the logo on the weight I thought it was an Electrolux trombone. I also knew of King as a make of extractor and household fans before I knew they were an instrument maker - and seeing a King clarinet with the same logo as the extractor fan had was also funny.

Not surprising, considering how many wind players sound like vacuum cleaners.................

Or just a subtle way of saying "this horn sucks"

I've seen "A" on the top of a mouthpiece cover, but I've no idea where the cover came from. Not Vito?
