Finally the recording has become public. Now I know why they had to dub it.

It appears the Backun barrels might be slightly overrated.

"Now I know why they had to dub it. "
They wanted to avoid the possibility of mistakes- even a single wrong note would have thrown it into tonality.
Seriously, is this what they played or is this just a joke video???

Here is what the "infor" reveals:

"This is a satirical hypothetical document, not an actual record of what happened on inauguration day. Albeit with a nod to StSanders, numerous viewers have also pointed out that the duration of this video (4'33") makes it a sort of John Cage tribute."

For those of us that thought it was the real thing........you may be suffering from Van Goeh ear syndrome and should think about switching to the trombone.

I'm with William on this one! If you bought this video, then I happen to have a Bridge in Queens that I'm trying to sell...

...or the OP should have saved this for April 1st!!!!

April 1, Oooh, I hadn't thought of that!

For anyone who i unaware of this idea, you can get some background

Many others have gotten in the act on this. You can do a search for "shreds" at youtube and find plenty of parodied artists. Many are pretty amusing. Enjoy.

It sounds like me playing cello. I thought it was pretty good.

Hey guys! I think it's funny that people still think this is real. I love the shred video and am honored by this tribute :) Anyway for the record, not the original tape!! I personally enjoy the lush tone of the person playing my part and the awkward silences with the birds flying around :)
