Hello fellow Clarinetists. I was curious as to if you fine people have a suggestion for some very nice clarinet/flute duets? Books and separate pieces are fine. Any suggestions? Thanks!

We've had this question MANY times before.
The 2 volumes of the Voxman(Rubank) flute/clarinet duets are a good place to start.
Search the archives for many additional listings.

My wife plays flute and in addition to Voxman we have found the following:
We have order music for two intruments and purchased both the clarinet and the flute books. Hal Leonard has a number of publications that work including "Great Jazz Duets" and "Jazz Favorites for Two".
For church music we recently purchased "Four Tunes for Piano and Two Instruments by Jonathan Kohrs. It has both Bb parts and C parts.
Flute and Clarinet duets are also available from JB Linear Music at http://music4woodwinds.com/fluteclarinetduets.aspx

Gary vanCott has some nice duets for flute and clarinet. Give him a call and discuss your needs with him.
Here's his site: http://www.vcisinc.com/

I've played and really like the Robert Muczynski Duo for Flute and Clarinet. Exciting, challenging, but playable.
Also wonderful is Gary Schocker's "Airheads".

There are 12 Mozart duets that have been arranged for just about every combination under the sun.
An example:
http://www.8notes.com/flute-clarinet_duet/
A lot of these are by David McKeown and were sold on Ebay, but I can't seem to find them any more.
I have the 12 pieces for violin/clarinet and a flautist friend said they'd be okay for flute.

There exists a really off-the-beaten-track piece: a challenginging duet by Camille Van Hulse. Van Hulse was a Belgian composer who spent most of his life in Tucson, Arizona. He was an organist and this is reflected in this piece.

A pretty challenging piece for the combination is John Addison's "Five Dialogues", Emerson Edition 219. My father and I have had a lot of fun, and hard work, making a good fist of this often-charming music. Easily recommended.

Jim:
I see you have an Amati C clarinet. I am considering either the Amati or the Ridenour 570C. Any suggestions in this regard?
