My daughter has been playing clarinet for 4 years. She is only 12 but I am interested in purchasing a new, better quality clarinet for her. I know nothing about clarinets so I am looking for some help.

You can get a vintage professional clarinet for less money than a new intermediate clarinet, but if you go that route you should have access to a reliable repair technician.

I don't know what your budget is and whether you want to buy new only or if used is an option.
If used IS an option after all, looking for an Evette Master Model or Evvet and Schaffer Master Model would be a great choice that would last your daughter for a very long time to come -- certainly until she decides how far she wants to take her clarinet career in college (or not).Molloy wrote:
