I see Leblanc Clarinet in several colors. Some say Dazzler on them and somd just say Vito. Is there a difference? Looks the same.

Same clarinet. Leblanc simply marketed a number of colors ... they look very cool in a marching band. My favorite (and I regret not buying one when I had the chance) was a clear plastic (?) Buffet with copper colored keys. There was one on ebay awhile back that went for about $800, if I recall correctly -- far more than it was worth as a musical instrument. But as an artistic statement . . .

Thanks a bunch Ed. I had a Dazzler and now have a blue one with just Vito on it. Thought they were the same but wasn't sure what to call them.

One other note. The late Brian Schweickardt played the opening of Rhapsody in Blue on a blue Dazzler in a Sacramento Symphony concert about ten years ago. He'd undercut some of the tone holes but apparently did no other modifications. For the remainder of the piece, however, he switched to his regular clarinet
