Could someone please tell me which mouthpiece Mark Nuccio currently plays on?
Thanks!

Chedville that has been custom refaced I believe. I don't think you will find one like his. It was made for him.

It wouldn't matter anyway, unless you're just curious. You would not sound the same just because you used the same mouthpiece as someone else, it just doesn't work that way. We're all built differently. That's why so many teachers that insist that all their students use the same mouthpiece usually are not successful with the majority of them. Hello,
I heard Mr. Nuccio do a wonderful recital at Northwestern University last month. It was flawless playing and an extremely refined example of the Marcellus approach to clarinet playing. From start to finish it was a wonderful evening of music making.
I asked him the same question after the recital. He said he was playing on an old Chedville that he had been given from Ron Rueben (former bass clarinet player Philly Orch).
But as Mr Palanker says above its not just the mouthpiece.
Lots of street ball players wear Air Jordans but no one has his hang time.

Damn- I really thought that if I got the same mouthpiece then I would sound EXACTLY the same as Mark Nuccio. How disappointing!
Thanks for the information :-)

My dreams are shattered too, Liquorice, I thought that his waking up at 5am every day had nothing to do with it. But, seriously folks, it's a one of kind mouthpiece for a one of a kind player.
