One of my chamber ensembles is hoping to perform Felix Weingartner's Quintet in G minor Op. 50 for clarinet, violin, viola, cello and piano.
Believe it or not, there is no recording currently available of the famous conductor's quintet.
Has anyone played or heard this piece?
If so, what were your impressions?
What is the length of the piece? Some of Weingartner's chamber music is quite long (one of his violin sonatas lasts 55 minutes) which is why I ask.
Thanks in advance for any info you have on the piece.
