My best friend has one, and it's a good clarinet, but not exactly to my preference. I believe this thread has some mention of it:

At least one of my clarinet students has one, and he loves it! I almost bought the 650 in A myself!

I own a 650 and it is a great clarinet. It has a beautiful dark and warm tone. My teacher who plays on a Buffet, even remarked that he would have no problem playing it in a concert. Plus, it is very reasonably priced, especially if you are on a student budget.

Had one 20 years ago in high school and really liked it. Eventually bought a used set of Buffets from my teacher and later sold the ycl 650, but hated to let it go. nice horn!
