I recently acquired the DVD from which at least the first clip...in Denmark...was taken. I liked Benny's comment...."Nice to be here.....where are we". Still great chops, however.

Great stuff - I had forgotten that Benny always played with his ligature on sort-of-sideways. I assume there was some purpose to it - did others at the time use their ligatures that way? Any classical players? Perhaps just a BG superstition?
