Hey All!
If there is anyone who played this opera in the past, please answer this:
How big is the Bass Clarinet part and how can I get the part? I tried Lucks music library but u have to rent a part for each scene.

If you are referring to Boito's Mefistofele, I don't think there is a bass clarinet part!

There are several pieces that go by that title under different spellings (based on language and time period).
None of us can give you any help until you tell us who the composer is.

Try contacting Kalmus Music. They list parts for sale (entire opera) for US$25 each. Their orchestration for the opera shows "2+1" clarinets, which suggests (assuming they haven't made an error) that there is a bass clarinet part. On the other hand, where they list orchestrations for sections of the opera that they sell separately, the clarinet listing is always "2." That suggests that (again assuming they haven't made an error -- always risky with Kalmus) the bass clarinet part may be relatively small.
