Hi, is there a site which lists upcoming Orchestral Auditions (besides of course AFM)? What about Competitions?

The AFM one is for members only. You can log in after joining your local union. They update the auditions list the first of each month. Or, if your local university library subscribes to International Musician (the monthly AFM publication), the same auditions are listed in there. Also try Myauditions.com.

What's "special" is when you get the AFM mag and the audition date application deadline is either the next day or the previous one.....

Besides the aformentioned Musicalchairs.info you can also check out Myauditions.com. Between those two sites, they have AFM covered and thensome as they also promote non-union auditions.

I'll check out the Musician's Union of Australia - see if they do anything like that...I'm not sure it would do me much good to be a member of the AFM???

Thanks all!

Indeed it would not! Ha.

Please note, musicalchairs.info has a page for North American listings and then a page stricly for Europe, Asia, Australia auditions. They currenly have two listings for auditions in Australia.
