This is true. For those who don't own the Hadcock book, the fingering "chart" provided is in the order of the excerpts listed in the book, so the fingerings are in context per excerpt.
The question for Jaysne is if she is playing Eb in a band or orchestral setting? If it is the former, the Hadcock book wont be of too much use as its sole purpose is geared towards the Orchestral Effer. There is no discussion on Effer technique other than how it relates to specific excerpts of the orchestral literature. For Band purposes, the Ridenour chart would be fine.
But, for any effer player with orchestral aspirations at any level (from community, HS to Pro) Hadcocks book is a valuable text.
