Can someone point me to a good website that shows alternate fingerings for high notes on an Eefer? Thanks.

Forget the websites, buy Hadcock's Eb clarinet book.
Money well spent ...GBK

I did find this with a google search of "eb clarinet altissimo fingerings"
http://www.research.umbc.edu/~emrich/chapter7-3.html
But you should buy the hadcock book anyway!

Thanks, but the website appears to be out of commission. I get one page, and then for the next page it says "Click Here" but there is nothing to click! I was looking specifically for high F fingerings, and they aren't on the first page.

I second the vote for Hadcock's book. Anyone who plays Eb should have it. A great resource from a master Eb player. I remember when I first began playing Eb it was the best thing to give me SO many valuable tips to tame the beast. I still pull it out regularly.

Gary Van Cott might have it in stock in it his store. I also believe he is a sponsor of the site. Give hime a call.

Otherwise, you can try this site:

Good luck. The fingerings in the Hadcock are excellent and there are orchestral excerpts that should provide plenty of practice hours....

While the Hadcock book is a great book and has some alternate fingering suggestions in context, it does not have a fingering chart, per se. Many, if not all, of the fingerings suggested in the Rideour fingerings book will work on eefer, you just have to try them out to see which ones will work on your specific clarinet. Another source with a few fingerings for F that you can try out is here:
http://www.wfg.woodwind.org/clarinet/cl_alt_3.html
but not as many suggestions as Ridenour.
Best regards,
jnk

This is true. For those who don't own the Hadcock book, the fingering "chart" provided is in the order of the excerpts listed in the book, so the fingerings are in context per excerpt.
The question for Jaysne is if she is playing Eb in a band or orchestral setting? If it is the former, the Hadcock book wont be of too much use as its sole purpose is geared towards the Orchestral Effer. There is no discussion on Effer technique other than how it relates to specific excerpts of the orchestral literature. For Band purposes, the Ridenour chart would be fine.
But, for any effer player with orchestral aspirations at any level (from community, HS to Pro) Hadcocks book is a valuable text.
