Hello all, I am looking for the well-known Leon Russianoff instructional books on clarinet (I believe there are two volumes, quite large) and have had no luck finding them for purchase.
I believe they are simply titled "Clarinet" and may have been out of print for a while. Does anyone know where I may purchase or find a copy?
Thanks for your help!

There was a copy of volume 2 on the auction site a couple of months ago, in fairly poor shape....but it still went for over $50. The seller had it listed under "Non fiction books" and if she had known to list it under Clarinet or some other music related category she might have gotten a lot more than that for it. She picked it up at a garage sale and only paid like 5 cents for it.
She had no idea what it was or how much it might be worth to some people.

Who knew they'd be the rookie Mickey Mantles of the clarinet method world... Wish I had Leon autograph mine when I had the chance.
Check the libraries, including the ICA's lending library. You never know what you might find.

Both volumes are available in the Montana State University--Billings Library. Your local library can probably arrange an interlibrary loan.
Good luck,
Sheri

they're both in the New York Public Library Performing Arts Division catalog - at least for now.

I bought my R13 from Leon Russianoff. He picked it out for me and sent it out to Long Island for some cork pads and a final adjustment.
Best purchase I ever made. Four hundred bucks and my old Buffet.
