Maybe some of you remember I posted about the known problem of the upper clarion with bass clarinets and that I think I found out what is causing it. As I mentioned in that thread I had the problem with Buffet clarients but not with Selmers.
I managed to get answers from two people who are some of top bass clarinet players who play Buffet instruments. One of them is the consultant for Buffet on low clarinets.
I would need the help of someone who speaks French. The answer was sent to me in French and I had someone translate it for me a little but he really don't know anything about clarinets so it was a bit hard to understand everything but I got the basic idea.
If someone is willing to receive the French written email and translate it for me I would really appreciate it. I will then post this information on this forum.
