I am probably very ignorant about bass clarinetists but I haven't heard anything quite that good before. What I usually hear is some bass clarinetist playing something extremely fast with a horrible tone.

Lawrie Bloom (Chicago Sym Bassist) playing the Krouse Bass Clarinet Concerto is about the best Bass playing I've ever heard.

Yes, their music is copyrighted so I doubt you will find smaples of their music on the internet.
Is it legal to make and mp3 of their music if I only send it to you to listen to, then you delete it?
You might even buy their CD after you hear so can be good for them.
Are you at all interested in hearing that?
They are in my opinion the best clarinet group I've heard and best bass clarinet players. The players are Louis Sclavis, Armand Angster, Jauqes DiDonato.

Nope, it's not legal. If you want though, you can make an mp3 of say 20 seconds (not long at all) and send it to me.

Do you have their homepage url? (couldn't locate it)

How do I make an mp3 of just a part of a track? Is there a free program that I can download for that?

Send me the track and I'll do it for you.
(kidding)
Actually, it would be better if you can just find their homepage. I saw a bunch of sites with their CD, but not their actual homepage and I'd like to read about em. They probably have some demos on their page also.

David, unfortunately they don't have a homepage, and don't have any demos on the net. Maybe you can ask your local store to order it, and you can listen and see if you want to buy it.

Trio de Clarinettes with Louis Sclavis? Sclavis is the most incredible bass clarinet soloist I know of anywhere. Excellent composer as well. Must be heard to be believed. Can also improvise over any changes. Total musician. Also an unstoppable clarinet player.
