Backun Products

I am looking for threads here, at the Clarinet BBoard, regarding Backun products, their clarinet barrels and bells. I was looking older messages, but I was lost since there were so many different threads here. I am interested how these work. Thank you for your help.

Or, if any of you could give any idea about their product, it would be appriciative, too.

[ Since last summer's Clarinetfest there has been much discussion about the Backun products. Read the "article" in The Clarinet Volume 31 Number 3, the information on Morrie's web site, and NUMEROUS thread on this bulletin board, including:

Technical discussion about the barrels and bells by USERS is fine, however Morrie's products generate many comments and opinions as to their "bang for the buck".

RoseWood -- there have been numerous threads on Mr. Backun and his products, so any discussion here really would be a complete rehash. Three recommendations --

(1) check out his website at http://www.backunmusical.com/
(2) read the article from a few issues ago in "The Clarinet" from the ICA
(3) take all the discussion and hyperbole with a grain of salt and try the product for yourself.
