Hey I bought a box of V12's the other day and for no reason all 10 of them make a fuzzy sound especially on Region Etude 11! Is this because its the thicker wood? My traditionals im almost posotive dont make a fuzzy sound.... Please help, give me info on the V12's

I don't know about the physical aspects of the reeds. I do know that the last several boxes I bought all sucked... I switched to Gonzalez.

Maybe they're a little bit to hard?

Breaking in reeds I find a must for V12's....and then the adjusting finds place. I've searched the net for some drawings about reed adjustment and found the following link:
