I am looking for the clarinet solo titled "Perpetual Motion". The arrangement I am looking for is Published by Carl Fischer. I think the composer is Bohm. I played a bunch of years ago but have lost it. I plan on using it as a high school sectional piece. The piece starts with ascending running eighth notes starting on g below middle c.

TKS Bob, They certainly "read" the same, depending [I guess] on one's choice of language. I [we?] should look them up with the music suppliers !! We all still seem to think that its NOT achievable, physically, but around the turn of the 20th century, I believe, the US Patent Office may have set up a subclass for patent applications [prob. few if any of them ever issued] on perpetual motion, tho I'xe heard there were some VERY ingenious solutions, well-disguised sources of energy, no doubt. Thots?? Don
Thanx, Mark, Don

Hi
Don't know about a Carl Fischer ed, but Opperman had his own version (I believe).
It was required study while I was at Hartt in the late 60's.
He provided students with xerox copies and it was transposed from Paganini.
Cohler has a CD wherein he plays it but don't know which ed.
